Arlene G. McConnell, age 92, resident of Richland since 1985, formerly of Fernwood, passed away Monday at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney. Arlene was born June 10, 1925 in LaFargeville, the daughter of Jacob and Ruth Ball Vogt. She attended Orleans Schools. Arlene was married to Warren "Buck" McConnell and he passed away October 16, 2001.
Surviving are four daughters, Charlene Marsden of Mexico, Brenda Moot of Minetto, Marilyn Briggs of Oswego, and Laurie Rotach of Sandy Creek, five sons, Mickey McConnell of Florida, Mark McConnell of Richland, Perry McConnell and Melzer McConnell both of Pulaski and Kenneth McConnell of Brewerton, one brother Leonard Vogt and one sister Anna Stackel both of Rutland, 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Arlene was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Isham who passed away August 21, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 25, at the Foster -Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski, with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, prior to the funeral.
