Roy E. Tanner, age 82, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Saturday at Oswego Hospital. Roy was born May 12, 1935 in Pulaski, the son of Herman and Dorothy Wilson Tanner. He graduated from Pulaski High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1955. Roy married Esther Garrison on July 13, 1957. He was employed by Schoeller Technical Papers for 20 years, retiring in 1999. He was also employed by New Process Gear for 11 years. Roy also owned and operated a farm for many years. He was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and a former volunteer for NOCA.
Surviving are his wife Esther, one son, Raymond (Laurie) Tanner of Williamstown, three daughters, Robin (Mark) Trumble of Pulaski, Pamela Tanner of Undilla, and Nancy Tanner of Syracuse, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Roy was predeceased by his twin brother, Norman and his sister Constance Sagart.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 23rd at the Park United Methodist Church, 2 Hubble Street, Pulaski, NY with a spring burial in Pulaski Cemetery. No calling hours will be held. Arrangements by Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY
