Edward W. Viscomi, age 66, resident of Pulaski, NY since 2000, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Sunday at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in Oswego. Edward was born June 16, 1951 in Easton, PA, the son of Frank and Shirley Bossard Viscomi. Edward graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1969. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 until 1885 as a nuclear arms technician. He was employed by the State of New Jersey as a corrections officer at the Mountain View Youth Correctional Facility in Annandale retiring in 2000. Edward was a member of Citizen Hose in Easton, PA. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed flying model planes.
Surviving are his brother Frank (Patricia) Viscomi of Nazareth, PA, one niece, Charisse (Ronnie) Santos of Teaneck, NJ and nephews Todd Viscomi of Bradenton, FL, Anthony Sagliani of Maryland and Michael Sagliani of Nazareth, PA.
Calling hours will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14th at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY. Funeral services and burial will be held in Pennsylvania at the convenience of the family.
