Obituary of Norman Minckler
Norman G. Minckler, age 85, life resident of Mexico, passed away Sunday at Seneca Hill Manor in Volney. Norman was born February 28, 1931 in Richland, the son of Herbert and Ethel North Minckler. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1947 and from Morrisville ATC. He served in the United States Army from 1950 until 1952. Norman married Sandra Kenyon on September 30, 1953 and she passed away on January 4, 2005. He owned and operated a dairy farm with his wife for 55 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Janet (Donovan) Minckler of North Rose, Cindy Casey and her companion Robert Monteith of Mexico, two sons, Edward Minckler of Fulton and James Minckler of Mexico, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
