Obituary of Howard Weisenburger
Howard L. Weisenburger, age 79, life resident of Altmar passed away Saturday at Oswego Hospital. Howard was born August 25, 1937 in Pulaski, the son of Carl and Blanche Richardson Weisenburger. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1955 and served in the United States Marines and the United States Coastguard from 1956 to 1960. Howard was married to Juley Roser on August 22, 1992. He was employed by Oswego County Highway Department for many years. He had also been a bus driver for Sandy Creek and APW school districts and drove tractor trailer for over 30 years. Howard was a member of the Ringgold Fire Department for 30 years. He loved to go to his camp in Redfield and sit and enjoy the sun on the porch, and go hunting in his stand. He was in his glory when he could drive his tractor or plow the snow or ride his 4-wheeler and mow his grass. He loved his pets, Barney, Camp and Scarlett.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Juley, one son, Mike (Christine) Weisenburger of Williamstown, two daughters, Marcia (Tom) Washburn of Sandy Creek and Angel Coins of Syracuse, five grandchildren, Cameron, Alivia, Sarah, David and Emmy, one sister Betty Griffith of Pulaski, two brothers in-law, David (Christine) Roser and Larry (Marilyn) Roser both of Altmar, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 10th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in South Richland Cemetery in Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
