Richard Denny, Sr.

Richard J. Denny, Sr., age 75, life resident of Richland passed away Wednesday at his home. Richard was born February 18, 1943 in Oswego, the son of Gerald and Ida Duesler Denny. He was married to Kary White on November 28, 2002. He was employed by Denny’s garage for 55 years in Richland, he later worked for Home Depot.


Surviving are his wife Kary, four sons, Richard Denny, Jr. of Sandy Pond, Richard Lucky Denny of Pulaski, Scott Denny of Fulton and Deno Denny of Orwell, eight daughters, Shelly Denny of Oswego, Karen Boner Finnerty of Syracuse, Renee Denny of Pulaski, Angela Denny of Oswego, Shelia Leutzinger of Missouri, Anna Jerome of Pulaski, Wendy Denny of Mallory and Margo Denny of Central Square, two brothers, Donald Denny of Richland and Grant Denny of Fulton, four sisters, Candice Maitland of Richland, Charity Graham of Richland, Donna Brow of Florida and Adelia Willis of Spanaway, WA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Ida Zufelt and Gerald Denny, Sr. and one brother one brother, Gerald Denny, Jr.


Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, December 23rd at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday prior to the funeral.
