Paul I. Lasher, age 81, resident of Pulaski for the last 20 years, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at his home. Paul was born September 22, 1937 in Auburn, the son of Gilbert and May Lawton Lasher. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1955 and served in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1959. He was employed by Nye Ford in Oneida and Koerner Ford in Syracuse for many years. Paul was a volunteer for OCO and Meals on Wheels for many years. He received the Presidential Award for Volunteerism in 2011 for his years of service. Paul was an avid enthusiast of classic cars and military aircraft.
Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Lasher of East Syracuse and Kevin (Sabrina) Lasher of Charlotte, NC, two grandchildren, Teagan and Griffin and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 5th, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial at the convenience of the family.
