James H. Bartosiewicz, age 71, resident of Sandy Pond for many years, formerly of Albany and Eastwood, passed away Tuesday at his home. James was born April 28, 1949 in Syracuse, the son of Henry and Ann Pascuzzi Bartosiewicz. He graduated from Henninger High School in 1968. James was married to Diane McKenzie on July 17, 2010. He was employed by Amtrak in Albany as a conductor for 23 years, retiring in 2009. He had previously been employed by Conrail for ten years and Penn Central for four years.
Jim was a devoted husband, loving father, brother and grandfather. A cherished and devoted friend and a one-of-a kind individual who was loved by many. He enjoyed a life full of love, laughter and shenanigans and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Diane, two sons, Gregory (Lisa) Bartosiewicz of Connecticut, Kyle Bartosiewicz of Charlotte, NC, daughter Gina Bartosiewicz of Albany, one granddaughter, Mia Bartosiewicz of Connecticut and one sister, MaryLou Bartosiewicz of Oswego.
