Harold E. Smith, Jr., age 68, resident of Mexico since 2017, formerly of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at his home. Harold was born May 18, 1952 in Syracuse, the son of Harold and Anna Chirtia Smith, Sr. He attended Pulaski schools and served in the United States Marines from 1972 until 1975. Harold married Sandra Bennett on April 16, 1977. He was employed by Industrial Precision Products in Oswego for several years. He was also employed by Mitten Manufacturing in Liverpool. He also was self-employed with his own salvage yard.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra, one son, Miles Smith of Mexico, brothers, James, William, Gary and John of Pulaski, one sister, Deborah Keyle of Washington and one grandson Zachary Spano. He was predeceased by his half-sister Sharon Webster.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 8th at South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home 52 Park Street Pulaski.
