Clara T. Johnson, age 79, life resident of Williamstown passed away Thursday at her home. Clara was born April 13, 1941 in Williamstown, the daughter of Daniel and Eva Roser Furney. She attended Williamstown Schools. Clara was married to Edward Johnson on April 18, 1959 and he passed away March 20, 1992. She was employed by Evergreen Nursing Home in Williamstown for many years. Clara was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Hasting Gorski Post #128 Williamstown.
Surviving are four daughters, Clara “Cookie” (Douglas) Kaine of Williamstown, Eva Dobbs of Altmar, Terry Medina of Williamstown and Mary Grandjean of Williamstown, four sons, Edward (Doreen) Johnson of Camden, Carl Johnson of Williamstown, James (Angel) Johnson of Altmar and Daniel Johnson of Williamstown, 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Clara was predeceased by two grandsons, Jacob Lee and Taylor Grandjean, and two son in-laws, Raymond Dobbs and John Alling.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, September 28th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home 52 Park Street Pulaski with burial Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
