Thomas G. Hoenow, age, 76, life resident of Pulaski passed away Friday at Morningstar Nursing Home in Oswego. Thomas was born June 20, 1944 in Richland, the son of Otto and Frances Mattison Hoenow. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1961 and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Thomas served in the United States Army Corp of Engineers from 1965 until 1968. He was employed as an ironworker in Central New York and around the state for 30 years. He was a member of the Local #66 Ironworker Union in Syracuse.
Surviving are his sister, Joan Hoenow of San Jose, CA, one daughter, Francine Thomas of Akwesasne, son, Otto Thomas Thomas of Akwesasne and his companion Eileen Thomas of Akwesasne and his caregiver, Kara Brokenleg of Jamesville. Thomas was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Stephen Hoenow.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 1st, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home at 52 Park St, Pulaski, with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
