Floyd E. Carpenter

Floyd E. Carpenter age 79, life resident of Pulaski passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Floyd was born February 5, 1943 in Pulaski, the son of Glen and Nira Harms Carpenter. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1961. Floyd was married to Shirley Haley on July 25, 1975, and she passed away September 14, 2006. He was employed by the Town of Richland Highway Department for 20 years, retiring in 1996.

 

Surviving are two stepsons, Randy (Jean) Rudd of Yorkshire, England and Michael Haley of N. Syracuse, two stepdaughters, Brenda (Frank) Loomis of Mannsville and Charlotte Boykin (Brian Champion) of Rochester, two grandchildren, Justin (Natashia) D’Elia of Pulaski, Amanda (Kory) Pearson of Pulaski seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Grace Jarrell.

 

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 26th at Pulaski Cemetery. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
