Obituary of Alan VanDuzer
Alan S. VanDuzer Jr., age 27, resident of Altmar, formerly of Pine Bush, passed away Friday from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. Alan was born February 3, 1990 in Middletown, NY, the son of Alan S. and Sandra L. Golden VanDuzer Sr. He graduated from Pine Bush High School in 2008. He graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology. Alan was employed by American Petroleum for a few years and he had also been employed by other various environmental cleanup companies. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited and the NRA. Alan loved football and had played for Pine Bush Schools since he was 6. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, Alan and Sandra VanDuzer Sr., and his brother Nicholas VanDuzer all of Altmar. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Catherine Green and Theodore Golden and paternal grandparents, Judith VanDuzer and Alan Lesando.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, at the Foster -Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski, with burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
