Obituary of Henry Eisel, Jr.
Henry W. Eisel, Jr., age 70, resident of Pulaski and Richland since 1979, passed away Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Henry was born September 12, 1948 in Troy, NY, the son of Henry W. and Doris Hamilton Eisel, Sr. He graduated from Liverpool High School in 1966, and he served in the United States Navy from 1967 until 1969. Henry married Dona Maute on August 3, 1974. He was employed by Carrier Corp from 1972 until 2004, when he retired. Henry was a member of the Adams American Legion, the VFW Post #7289 in Pulaski, the Albion Fish and Game Club and the Sandy Pond Sportsman Association. He was also an avid fishman and hunter.
Surviving are his wife, Dona, three daughters, Amanda Eisel (Mary Peter) of Charlotte, NC, Bethany (Adam) Wolfe of Burlington, VT, and Deanne (Jason) Shuler of Marietta, OH, two sisters, Lynda (John) Colomb of North Syracuse and Sandra (Steve) Mott of Clay and five grandchildren.
Informal calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 7th, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial at the convenience of the family.
