Obituary of Lillian Sherman
Lillian R. Sherman, age 96, life resident of Pulaski and Sandy Creek, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Monday, December 17th in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Lillian was born on March 22, 1922 in Sandy Creek, the daughter of Floyd and Clara Dana Crandall. Lillian married her husband Clifford Sherman on November 25, 1945. She was employed by Blount Lumber Co. as a cafeteria manager for 35 years. Lillian will be remembered for her love of animals and golf. She was a charter member and officer of the United Friends of Homeless Animals and a member of several golf leagues at the Elms Golf Course.
Surviving are her niece, Susan Crandall of Lacona, her nephew, Peter Crandall of Oswego, caregivers, Patrick and Mary Brandano of Florida and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 2004, twin brother, Leon Crandall in 2011 and nephew, Lee Crandall in 2018.
Funeral Services will be held 4 p.m., Thursday, December 27th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the funeral.
