Obituary of Donald LeBeau
Donald “Frenchie” A. LeBeau, age 76, life resident of Pulaski passed away Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Donald was born February 5, 1943 in Pulaski, the son of Frank and Claire Kelsey LeBeau. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1961. Donald was employed by National Grid for 40 years, retiring in 2010. He was married to Kathy Gaffney LeBeau on August 18, 1989. He was a member of the Pulaski-Boylston Snowmobile Club and a trail groomer for many years. He also coached his daughters in softball and was a Boy Scout troop leader. Donald golfed at Cold Springs Golf Course in the Tuesday men’s league and the Thursday couple’s league.
He had “the strength of a farmer, football player (who was a part of a defensive line that was never scored on in an entire season) a lineman and perhaps the hardest "hat" father of daughters, all packaged in one amazing man.” With Godspeed dad, you’ve got this!
Surviving, are his wife, Kathy, eight daughters, Jeanne (Angel) Rodriguez of Pulaski, Wendi (James) Thousand of Virginia, Rene (Mark) Sliwoski of North Carolina, Kristy (Bill) Holcomb of Altmar, Becky Salisbury of Pulaski, Rene (D.O.) Oldick of Little Falls, Bobbi Jo (Richie) White of Williamstown and Jennifer Scott of Pulaski, one brother, James LeBeau of Pulaski and one sister, Glenda Clark of Georgia, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
A celebration of life will be held at noon, Saturday, July 13th at Ma Barker’s Tavern, Route 11, Pulaski with burial at the convenience of the family. Please come and share a memory or a funny story of Frenchie. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
