Obituary of Timothy L. Engst
Timothy L. Engst, 77, resident of Williamstown, NY since 1966, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 1st. He was born January 27, 1942 in Fabius, the son of Orville and Helen Saunders Engst and graduated from Fabius High School in 1959. He attended Harvard University and served in the United States Army Reserves from 1961 until 1968. Timothy was married to Joan Smith in 1962. He owned and operated Red & White Lumber in Williamstown from 1975 until 2000 and previously operated a shooting preserve, Call of the Wild. He was a member of THRIFT and a lifetime member of the NRA.
He is survived by his three sons, Michael (Trudy Yerdon), David (Amy Lyman) and Terry, and their mother, Joan; eight grandchildren: Tasia and Ryan; Christopher, Ezra, Tess and Samantha, and their mother, Patricia Martinez; Nicholas and Samuel; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Dona, Nancy and Chris.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
