Obituary of Elizabeth Procter
Elizabeth Hood Procter (Bette) "graduated" to her heavenly home from her beloved Pulaski on June 12, 2020. Bette had been staying with her devoted friends, Sherry and Paul LaFlamme. Bette was born on June 29, 1946 in Kinston, NC the daughter of Elizabeth Sanders Hood Procter (Betsy) and Robert William Procter (Doc). She graduated from Burnt Hills Ballston Lake High School in Scotia, NY in 1965. She graduated from Oswego State Teacher's College in 1970.
Bette lived in Pulaski, NY since 1971. She was employed by Charlie Brown Nursery School for 20 years and also worked at Pulaski Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher. She was an active member of Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and loved hosting home bible study. Bette's faith was her foundation!
Bette loved life and loved people!! She could be found laughing with children as they learned from her, while having so much fun. She enjoyed playing cards, playing board games, scrap booking and jumping the waves in God's ocean at her family's N.C. ocean home, "SEASCAPE".
Bette is predeceased by her parents Betsy and Doc Procter. She is survived by her brother Robert William Procter (Robert) and sister-in-law Mary Kukainis of Sarasota, Florida, her sister Rebecca Anne Procter (Becky) of Cary, NC, her nephew Robert Frank Procter (Bobby) and niece Shawn Lynn Procter and several great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street Pulaski, NY.
