Obituary of Lorelei L. Dealing
Lorelei L. Dealing, age79, life resident of Altmar, passed away Tuesday at Bishop Rehab & Nursing Home in Syracuse. Lorelei was born August 28, 1942in Oswego, the daughter of George and Laure Forbes Gardner. She graduated from APW High School in 1961. Lorelei married James Wayne Dealing on August 31, 1978. She was employed by P&C Markets in the bakery and Byrne Dairy on Main Street for several years. She was also employed by Montgomery Wards in Pulaski and the Altmar General Store. She was a previous member of the Pulaski Bowling League, Altmar Russell Tryon Post 1435 Auxiliary and Altmar Fire Department Auxiliary, and she was a former volunteer for NOCA.
Surviving, are her husband, J. Wayne Dealing, two daughters, Melissa Ann Gardner of Clayton and Marcia Marie Washburn of Lacona, one son, Michael Weisenburg of Williamstown, two brothers, Warren Gardner of Altmar and John Gardner of Adams, one sister, Velma Short of Wilmington, DE, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 30th at the Dugway Methodist Church, State Route 104, Parish, NY 13131. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Friends and family are invited to stay for a reception at the church fellowship hall following the service. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
