Obituary of Claude C. House
Claude C. “Carl” House, age 76, resident of Williamstown, passed away Thursday at his home. Claude was born May 29, 1945, in Watertown, the son of Claud C. and Frances Spencer House. He attended Mannsville Manor Schools and served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1966. Claude was married to Evelyn Allen on September 10, 1966. He was employed by APW School for 19 years in maintenance and transportation, retiring in 2007. He has previously been employed by Omega Wire for 14 years. Claude was a lifetime member of the Williamstown VFW.
Surviving, are his wife, Evelyn M., three daughters, Mabel (Larry) Fuller, Helen House, and Peggy House all of Williamstown, two sons, David (Claudia) House of California and Claude (Heather) House of Liverpool, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 6th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
